Mythos restaurant opened its doors in 2014 with a passion for Greek and African Heritage. We wanted to create a restaurant that serves the best Greek food in Kampala, in an elegant, warm and friendly atmosphere. From the moment you walk into the restaurant we want you to feel at home. Chef Yiannis, has created a menu that respects authentic Greek Cuisine, with a modern approach. We serve classic Greek meals, using only the freshest local produce and imported Greek spices for that authentic taste. Our Cocktail lounge, overlooking the restaurant, is considered one of Kampala’s finest bars and lounges. Our drinks menu includes award-winning cocktails created by Jono our drinks mixologist. We stock the largest selection of premium spirits in town, and of course, the very best Champagnes and wines.
Constructed with an eye toward classic Greek architecture, the tall roman columns, high ceilings and the indoor-outdoor flow between the bar/lounge and the restaurant creates an airy and elegant environment perfectly suited for both large parties and smaller groups. The open space, surrounded by beautiful garden trees, is the perfect setting for a larger party, whilst our wooden dividers can be set up to create a cozy and intimate dinner for two.
